TRYOUTS

Gators Tryouts

The Gators is a year-round competitive swim team and swimmers are placed in swim groups based on their skill level at tryouts. Practice times vary based on swim group and can change during the year based on pool availability. You can read more about our team structure here.

Our team holds tryouts a few times a year - generally in the early fall and late winter. Please contact us to be added to our notification list when the next round of tryouts opens for registration.

If your swimmer is a novice and new to swimming on a team, we recommend looking into the ARPD stroke school to perfect your swimmer's strokes. If your swimmer is more advanced than the swim stroke lessons, there is also an introduction to swim team camp from ARPD that is offered in the summer.

If your swimmer is already swimming on a team and looking to transfer, please contact us for more information.

Please look out for details regarding our next tryout.
